At Hevy, we’re building the best social workout tracker app in the world. Millions of lifters already use Hevy to log their training, share progress, and push each other forward. 

We’re now looking for a Product Designer based in Barcelona; someone who deeply understands user problems, can shape product direction, and bring ideas to life through design. You’ll work closely with the product and engineering team to craft experiences that feel simple, intuitive, and delightful. All while solving complex challenges at scale across iOS, Android, WatchOS, WearOS, and web.

We’re a small team supporting millions of users and adding thousands more every day. The things you design here will ship fast, reach a massive audience, and have a real impact.

What you’ll do:

• Discover and explore user problems through research, data, and direct conversations.
• Turn complex workout flows into intuitive, elegant experiences that feel effortless for our users.
• Create and refine user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI that balance usability and delight.
• Work across mobile and wearable platforms (iOS, Android, WatchOS, WearOS, web), adapting designs to each context.
• Bring a design voice to product discussions; helping shape what we build and how it works, not just how it looks.
• Collaborate closely with PMs and Engineers, making sure design decisions translate into great shipped experiences.
• Push forward Hevy’s visual identity and design system, ensuring consistency and scalability, designing animations and micro-interactions that bring joy to the app.
• Experiment with AI-powered design workflows to speed up exploration and creativity.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally with a mobile-first focus.
• A product-minded designer; you think about flows, trade-offs, and user value, not just screens.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively present your work and bring key stakeholders on board.
• Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-impact startup environment with openness to leveraging AI tools to make design faster and more innovative.
• Mastery of Figma (from quick explorations to high-fidelity prototypes), and experience designing mobile animations.
• A portfolio that shows you can solve real user problems with clear, thoughtful design.
• A personal interest in fitness, weightlifting, or calisthenics.
