Hevy is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer<\/strong> to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take on technical leadership<\/strong>, helping to architect, develop, and scale<\/strong> our mobile and web apps. You\u2019ll tackle our most complex engineering challenges, improve system performance, and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to shape the future of Hevy.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re a small, fast-moving team supporting millions of users<\/strong>, so your work will have a massive impact<\/strong> on both our product and our users. You’ll build at scale across iOS, Android, WatchOS, WearOS, and web<\/strong>, ensuring our platform remains robust and high-performing as we continue to grow.<\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Do:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Lead and contribute<\/strong> to the development of both frontend and backend systems using React(-Native), TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Architect scalable solutions<\/strong>, improving system performance and reliability.<\/li>\n
  • Mentor and support<\/strong> other engineers, fostering a culture of growth and technical excellence.<\/li>\n
  • Own projects end-to-end<\/strong>, from technical planning to execution.<\/li>\n
  • Work cross-functionally<\/strong> with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features and refine existing ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • 4+ years<\/strong> of experience building and scaling web and\/or mobile apps.<\/li>\n
    • Deep expertise<\/strong> in React(-Native), TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Strong problem-solving skills<\/strong>, with a track record of solving technical challenges at scale.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication skills<\/strong>, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n
    • Bonus:<\/strong> Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.<\/li>\n
    • Bonus:<\/strong> A passion for weightlifting, calisthenics, or fitness!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
