How to Upload Gym Selfies and Training Videos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you have logged a workout<\/a> in Hevy, you can upload three images or two images and one video before saving the session to your profile. (You can read more about saving workouts and all the available options here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To upload media, log a live session (with the stopwatch on the top left tracking the duration) and tap the blue Finish<\/strong> button on the top right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, tap the icon or Add a photo \/ video <\/strong>text. You will be prompted to select media from your library or take a photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can tap on any photo or video to delete it from the workout:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, tap and drag to rearrange the media you\u2019ve uploaded. This will change the order in which the photos appear for the workout when displayed in the content feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also write a description of your session below. This can serve as a future reference when tracking your progress<\/a> or to update your followers on how your training has been going. Here\u2019s an example of a Hevy user\u2019s description for one of their workouts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once finished, tap the blue Save<\/strong> button at the top right to store the session and media in your Hevy profile<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s worth noting that you don\u2019t necessarily have to upload gym selfies. For instance, you can upload a screenshot with cardio data, a snapshot of a song you\u2019re listening to, or even a funny meme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Can See the Images and Videos I Upload?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Everyone can see the videos and images you upload if you have a public profile. However, only people you\u2019ve allowed to follow you can see your media if your profile is private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To set your profile to private, navigate to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profile<\/strong> tab > gear settings icon<\/strong> on the top right > Privacy & Social<\/strong> under Preferences<\/strong> > toggle turn on Private Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to See Other Users\u2019 Uploaded Media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Home<\/strong> tab shows updates from the athletes and gym-goers you follow. You can freely scroll through users\u2019 media and tap on any workout<\/a> to see all the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also open any athlete\u2019s profile (so long as it\u2019s not private) and see their uploaded media at the top. Scroll through their videos and images and tap on any of them to open the corresponding workout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, you can tap Discover<\/a><\/strong> in the Home<\/strong> tab to see workouts along with photos and videos from users you don\u2019t follow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
