You can do so by tapping the blue <strong>+ Add exercise<\/strong> while creating a routine, editing an existing one, or logging a live session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the search bar and filters for equipment and target muscles to find relevant activities and add multiple together or one at a time. The Hevy library offers 400+ relevant exercises to pick from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4363-4364-4365-1-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4363-4364-4365-1-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4363-4364-4365-1-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4363-4364-4365-1-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4363-4364-4365-1.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you add an exercise you\u2019ve done before, the number of sets, the weight, and the reps you\u2019ve done before are automatically added, but you can adjust them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Write Custom Exercise Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve added an exercise to a routine, you can <strong>write <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/features\/exercise-notes\/\">a custom note<\/a><\/strong>, such as a tip or reminder\u2013\u2013for example, <em>\u201cPause for 2 seconds at the bottom.\u201d<\/em> This note will appear for the exercise each time you reuse the routine in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can write an additional note for any exercise while logging a workout. This note will only be relevant for the specific session and could be an observation or something similar. For instance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Sets 1-2: Warm Up<\/li><li>Sets 3-4: Normal<\/li><li>Set 5: Failure<\/li><li>Set 6: Drop Set<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Program Loads, Reps, and Duration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Under <strong>KG<\/strong> or <strong>LBS<\/strong> (depending on your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/features\/workout-settings\/\">settings<\/a>), you can program a specific weight for each set of the exercise. You can tap the <strong>REPS<\/strong> text to open the options and switch to rep ranges. Tap the hyphen (-) sign on each set and use your phone\u2019s keyboard to write the target duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4371-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4371-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4371-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4371-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Img-4371.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While unavailable during routine building, you can enable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hevyapp.com\/features\/how-to-calculate-rpe\/\">RPE<\/a> (<strong>Profile<\/strong> tab &gt; <strong>Settings<\/strong> gear icon on the top right &gt; <strong>Workouts<\/strong> &gt; <strong>RPE Tracking<\/strong> enable via the toggle switch).
